Most of the video-works of Manuel Mousiol are shot on MiniDV, while still claiming to achieve film-like qualities. His work also spans photography, graphic and postproduction. Up to this date he did a wide array of projects, including short movies, experimental videos, documentary, music video, animation as well as portrait- and art-photography and graphical design.
Of interest to him is especially the urbanite and his banalities, e.g. interpersonal relationships, pressure to succeed, death and automatism.


Manuel Mousiol is working as a graphic designer and retoucher in Tôkyô at one of the greatest companies in the country: Japan Digital Image.
